Matthew 2:2 saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."

Matthew 2:9-10, "When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

Bible tells us that when Jesus was born three wise men came to see Him saying where is He who has been born King of the Jews? They were searching Him in king's palace but they could not find Him there. King of kings and Lord of lords humbled Himself and came down in this world in a poor carpenter's home. He left all His riches and became poor for us so that we may become rich through His great sacrifice.

They saw His star that led them to the Savior because they diligently searched the Messiah but on the other side Herod said that he want to see and worship the new born King but could not see because he was looking to kill Him. If you want to meet the Savior you need to seek Him diligently. You may be born in a Christian family, you may be celebrating Christmas from last 10, 40 or 65 years but if you have not yet met the Savior then celebrating Christmas, tasteful decorations, beautiful ornaments on Christmas tree and tasty foods on your table are meaningless. You are just same old hopeless sinner for which Jesus came in this world taking the form of a human being.

As long as you are not saved, as long as your sins are not forgiven you are in darkness. Jesus who is the bright and morning star (Rev. 22:16) came in this world to take away the darkness of sin from our lives as we read in Isaiah 9:2, "The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined."

When wise men saw the star they overjoyed. That's what happens when a person meets Christ the Savior in his/her life. He takes away every sin, pain, sorrow, misery and tears and fills us with His peace and joy. He gives the joy and peace that world can not give.

In this Christmas the star that led the wise men may guide you and lead you to the Savior. We wish you all a merry Christmas and a very happy and blessed New Year 2002!! Son abides forever

John 8:35, "And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever."

Here Jesus is speaking about the difference between slave and son. Now the question is, "who is a slave?"
The previous verse gives the answer for this question. John 8:34, "Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin".

As long as you are in sin you are a slave of sin, slave of Satan. Because Satan is the father of all evil doers. It means, all who do evil are followers of Satan. Bible clearly speaks that a slave can not abide in the house forever. Slave cannot inherit the things of father (God). Slave or sinner cannot inherit a place in heaven.

Now the question is, "who is a sinner?"
Many even do not realize that they are sinners. Once somebody said, "I do not know why God is punishing me while I never committed any sin." Yet another person said, "I do not know why I am going through this situation, why God allows such things when my life is good and clean."

Bible clearly speaks that "no one is blameless or sinless"
Rom 3:23, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"
Rom 3:10, "As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;
Rom 3:11, "There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God."
Rom 3:12, "They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."

All have sinned, no one could ever say that they are blameless or sinless. In the sight of God all are sinners. Whether you are rich or poor, whether you are in a good position or not, whether you are intelligent or not. It does not matter who you are but Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. And because you are a sinner you are a slave and a slave cannot inherit the things of God.

Now, what is sin?
What is the definition of sin? The things which is unpleasing in the sight of God is sin. The things which does not please God, which does not bring glory to His name is sin. There are many groups of people who say, "It is my life, I am the owner of my body so I am entitled to live as I wish. Nobody has right to teach me what to do and what not to, it is my own right to choose things. I have freedom to choose." Once a 13 year old girl was interviewed in TV. They asked her, "you are so young why do you smoke and take drugs?" She said "It is my body, nobody has authority to control me."

Do you think it is freedom? No it is slavery. As long as you are in sin you are a slave of Satan. You are not in control of your body but it is Satan who has become the master of your life and soul. Now let us see according to Bible what is sin.

1. Rejecting God is sin:
Rejecting God, rejecting the creator who made you is sin. When you say "this is my body, this is my life. I am free to live as I wish" then you are rejecting God's authority over your soul. Thus you are not only rejecting God but allowing Satan to take hold of your life, you are submitting yourself under the authority of Satan. Satan is a thief, he is a killer he is always waiting for the same thing. When you willingly submit yourself to satan he comes and gladly takes control of your soul and you become the slave of satan.

Think about it today, who your master and Lord is? Who is your controller? Satan or Jesus?

Bible clearly speaks that there is only one creator, there is only one true and living God. His name is Jesus. There is none beside Him, there is none who can save you from eternal hell but only Jesus (Acts 4-10). Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

No other religion has ability to save anybody. Islam cannot save you from hell fire nor Hinduism or Buddhism. Today it is more clearer than ever that Islam is a religion of killing. It teaches to kill unbelievers of Islam. It teaches to kill Jews and Christians. It teaches to kill non-Muslim people. I read somewhere that In the Quran, he commands more than sixteen times that his enemies, all unbelievers, and those who have slipped away or turned away from Islam should be killed. It is the command of Allah and his prophet Mohammed. Here are some verses from Quran.

Sura 2:191 - "Kill them wherever you come upon them. Expel them from where they expelled you; sedition is more grievous than slaying. Fight them not by the Holy Mosque until they should fight you there; then, if they fight you, kill them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers"

Here is another verse which says do not be friendly with other people (unbelievers or heathen)
Sura 4:89 - "Take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then if they turn away seize them and kill them wherever you find them and take no friend nor helper from among them"

Here is one more verse which speaks about converting all people to one religion that is Islam.
sura 2:193 And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrongdoers.

Satan is a thief. He comes to steal to destroy and to kill. John 10:10, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

It is satan's idea to kill everybody. The same ideology is reflected in Quran also. Satan has deceived many that's why Muslims are trying to kill and destroy everybody in the name of 'Jihad' or 'holy war'. Yes my friend, you cannot reach heaven by killing somebody. Bible speaks that killers will not inherit heaven.

Look at Lord Jesus Christ who came to seek that which was lost. He came to save sinners. He himself shed His blood on Calvary's cross so that we can have a place in heaven. Can you find such a God anywhere in any other religion? Can you find such a creator in any other religion who Himself came down seeking His lost creation. That is the love of God. That is true love, you cannot find such love in Allah.

If you are still rejecting the one and only true God Jesus Christ, you are still in sin and you are a slave to satan.

2. Practicing evil is sin:
What is evil? Bible gives us a long list of evil. Here is some of the things described below.

Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, Gal 5:21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Cor 6:9, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites," 1 Cor 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

These are the works of flesh. It is the clear sign of carnality. If you are practicing any of these sins you are still carnal and a sinner. Bible says that such people will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Cor 15:50, "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption".

Heaven is a holy place where there is no place for evil doers or fleshly things. If you are still involved in these things you need salvation. You need the savior Jesus Christ. You need to repent from your sins. Invite Jesus in your heart. When Jesus will come in, fleshly desires will die. When Jesus the most holy God will come inside of you, He will change you and make you whole. He will give you peace, He will restore your life and will give you the meaning of life. He will take away sin from your life and give you a clean life. Jesus said "slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever." As long as you live in sin you are a slave and remember, "you cannot inherit heaven". But here is hope in Jesus Christ. You can receive Jesus into your heart and could become a child of God. When you become a child of God you have the right to stay in God's house forever.

Pray this prayer from the bottom of your heart:
Lord Jesus I know that my life is not clean. I know that I am not ready for the place you are preparing for your children. Please come into my heart. Save my soul. Forgive my sins. I know that I am a sinner and I need your help. Wash away my sins in your precious blood and make me your child. I want to come out of the state of slavery today. I do not want to live in sin anymore. I do not want that satan should control my life. Today I give my life, my whole to you. Lord Jesus, come into my heart and make me whole. Take control of my life. Be my Lord and Savior. Be my master and all. I commit my life and my ways at your feet. Forgive me of my sins. Lord I praise you for listening to me. Lord I thank you for delivering me from slavery of sin and satan. I pray in Jesus name Amen.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 12th Aug. 2008

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 12th Aug. 2008

Printed Version of the Magazine

We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our website
