EDITORIAL
When we got up every morning we face many uncertain and peaceless situations. Many times we hear something that disturbs our peace. But Jesus said in John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Jesus gives us the peace that endures for ever in the midst of problems, in the midst of troubles, in the midst of tears and heart breaking experiences and even in the midst of death of loved one. Yes, Jesus gives the peace that can't be shaken by the worlds' problems. But only when we allow Him to come in our heart and repent from our sins then He is ready to give His peace. I found Jesus

I was born and brought up in a Christian family. I regularly attended Church services and Sunday school. My life was good everybody used to appreciate me saying, "She is very good intelligent, talented and so on." So I was always thinking I am so pious. Days passed like that, but I didn't find any joy. I felt that something is lacking in my life, some emptiness is there. I started reading novels, seeing movies and tried to fill that emptiness but was in vain. As I started reading more novels, instead of getting peace, I felt that I am sinking in deep depression. I wasn't able to concentrate on my studies and now I was lagging behind in my studies. Once I was 1st or 2nd in my class but now could hardly get passing marks. It made my parents angry. They started scolding me. I lost all my peace. And as usual I was searching for new novel I got two pages of testimony. A Bengali Brahmin lady who was a Doctor by profession, her testimony was very touching. It was written how she saw the movie, "The life story of Jesus" and how she found Jesus as her personal Lord & savior and she wrote such and such year, such and such date I got this great experience. It thrilled me. I was thinking, "Though I am a born Christian but I don't have such experience. I don't have such peace and joy." I prayed that day that "Lord I need such experience. I don't know how to get it. I don't know what it is, but I want this peace." Lord heard that sincere prayer. Within one year I got that great experience of salvation. It was 3rd Nov. 1981 when I received a letter from my cousin. She wrote all her experience and wrote "there is only one life. If you will not come to that experience you will not see the kingdom of God." I read that letter and without my knowledge I started crying. I cried and cried for more than 2 hours and something happened that day. My life changed. I got the joy and peace that words can't express. My depression fled away. I stopped reading those novels & seeing movies. Bible says in 2Cor 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." After this experience I always think how to live a holy life. How to please God and it is 16 years of long journey with Jesus. I can say Jesus is real to me. When I go through sorrows and problems, I feel all the time His divine comfort and peace. In my day to day life He guides me all the time. He is a mighty counselor as Bible says in Isa. 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Not only that, I know when I'll close my eyes in this world, I will be in heaven. This is the assurance Jesus gives us. My dear friends If you want such glorious experience please pray this prayer with your whole heart- Lord Jesus I know that you died for me. You have shed your precious blood on cross for my sins. I am a sinner. I lived my life according to my will, I did what I wanted to do, but now I come to your presence. Wash me with your precious blood. Save my soul and give me a place in heaven. Amen.
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 9th Sep. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 9th Sep. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
