Joshua 1:7, "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go."This is the very simple rule given by God for prosperity and blessing in our lives. If we want to see blessings and prosperity in our lives we need to obey God in each and every step and in everything. There is no other way to get favor and blessings of God. Jesus also said, "do not worry about worldly things but seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."I remember how God blessed my whole family and me because we obeyed Him and tried to walk in the ways of God. I used to listen to Christian radio program called 'Masihi Vandana' in the morning. One day, I tried to find the program but there was no clear sound. So I tried to adjust the knob and in that process it switched to some other station. In that station I heard Bro. Dhinakaran's testimony of how he was very disappointed with his life and wanted to commit suicide by throwing himself before oncoming train. But how his uncle met him in the way and asked him to give a chance to Jesus. Bro. D.G.S. Dhinakaran came back home and prayed to Jesus saying that if God helps him to come out of all his problems then he will walk in the ways of God. And further he said that God changed his life and made him a blessing for millions. Prosperity came in his life. At the end of the program he prayed for sick people. At that time my dad was very seriously ill. So on the same day my mom wrote a letter to him asking him to pray for my dad. My dad got complete healing from his sickness.This made me curious to know more about Jesus and His miracle working power. I started reading the books and magazine of Bro. Dhinakaran. Few weeks later we ordered some audiotapes of his messages and waited patiently to receive those tapes. A month later or so we got a letter saying that they do not have the required tape so they sent us another one titled "In the valley of tears". At the end of that tape he gave altar call saying, "what you get in this world? As you advanced in age, you get only sicknesses and problems.... when you are young and good in health, why don't you give your life to Jesus? Why don't you yourself become a prophet like Moses.. Elijah and Elisha... When I heard that it seemed so promising and so excellent. When you are constantly reminded by your family members that you are nothing.. you are not going to excel in anything, you are not good in your studies.. you are the dumbest person in the whole world.. and so on. When you are completely beaten down and when you do not have any hope at that time, here is a person who is telling, give your life to Jesus and He will exalt you. Without my knowledge I prayed, "Jesus, Here I am, send me!.... I am ready to go where ever you send me." After that I heard that tape many more times and every time I prayed the same thing. Of course God started blessing my life. I gave many exams and passed those exams with flying colors. Sicknesses and problems started vanishing from our home. There was peace, joy and blessings in our home. It does not mean that our lives became very smooth and we did not face any problem after that. No, we went through terrible problems. Because of ministry we went through terrible problems, we got many threats. Even there were times when I stood at the balcony of second floor of my home and thought it may be the last time I am seeing my brother alive. It wasn't easy to face these things. It was very hard but God gave us grace to face everything. He was always with us and protected us. Today whatever we are it is only because of God and His blessings. He exalted us before others and allowed us to touch heights not because of our ability but because we tried to obey Him in everything. We saw victory in every field of our lives. My dear friend, if you want to see blessings and prosperity in your life, there is only one way, to obey God in every step no matter what. Today, you may be going through terrible problems. You may be shedding bitter tears and may be seeing no hope for future. But if you give your life to Jesus and if you obey Him in your life, you will see prosperity and blessings in your life. And you will see victory in your life. He will give you a blessed future.
Homosexual Bishop - Is this the future of our Churches?
Deu 23:12-14, "Also you shall have a place outside the camp, where you may go out; and you shall have an implement among your equipment, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and turn and cover your refuse. For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you.When God gave the Law to Moses, He specifically told him how to keep the camp clean and holy so that God could come in and dwell among the Israelites. He spoke to him specifically about what to do and what not to do to keep themselves holy. God also spoke to Moses about which types of actions are considered as sin and what not. One of them was homosexual life style. God calls homosexual lifestyle as abomination. We read in the very first book of the Bible that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their homosexual lifestyle. There are many more references in the Bible and instances how, when the Israelites sinned against God and did abominable things, God turned away from them and punished them. Yes, God cannot stay where sin is. But today we have the first homosexual bishop in the history of American Churches, recognized by 2/3rd majority. How ridiculous it was to watch the gay bishop standing with his male partner and grinning. How ridiculous it is to see two males or two females uniting in marriage and how ridiculous it is to see them raising kids. And more than that, now the abomination is sitting on the altar of God with the blessings of many pastors and Bishops. No one wants to see the filth around him or her, but today our Churches have put filth on the altar of God wrapped in the wrapper of "love", "humbleness", "humility", "unity", "peace" and "thou shall not judge" wrapper. They are putting the filth in the altar of God and saying, "we are doing a new thing..". But they forgot that, they are blaspheming God and slapping on the face of God. And it is not a new thing, but it is the great sin recorded in the Bible thousands of years ago. Bible very clearly says in 1 Cor 6:9-10, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." No matter how people approved the homosexual person to become a Bishop but still it is abomination in the sight of God. Bible says in Rom 1:21, "because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened." All these things come because people reject God and His holiness. At least they should not have allowed a homosexual to take control of the Church, but as we all know these are the last days. Antichrist's coming is very near. Thousands of years ago Daniel prophesied and said in Dan 11:31-32, "And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Jesus Himself warned about it in Mat 24:15 and onward, "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),"I can say that whatever we are seeing is only a trailer of what is about to come. But don't be dismayed. Look to Jesus and walk in His holy ways. And He will never let you down. We have to follow Christ not church leaders, pastors or Bishops who are determined to put down almighty God. They are determined to blaspheme God with their abominations but those who walk in the ways of God they will not be ashamed. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. (Psalms 34:5)If we want God to dwell among us, we should eliminate sin, filth and abomination from our Churches and from our Church altars. Bible says in Psalms 32:1, "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered." There is no other way to get forgiveness of our transgressions and cover our sin except through the blood of Jesus. Come to Jesus and repent from your sins.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 9th Dec. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 11th Nov. 2008
