This week we will be celebrating mother's day. Mothers and women have played an important role not only in the whole history but also in the Bible. Bible speaks about prophetesses, courageous women as well as those who played important role in family life and in God's work. While other scriptures talk low about women, Bible gives equal status to women. Bible says in Proverbs 31:10, "Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies."Those mothers who prayed for their kids have transformed the destiny of their children and shaped their life in such a way that they have become a blessing for many. Susannah Wesley was a woman of prayer. She had seventeen children. Every night when she tucked her children to the bed, she laid her hand on every child and prayed for them. And no wonder two of her sons John Wesley and Charles Wesley became priests and preachers of Gospel who shook the whole world. Both John and Charles Wesley wrote that their mother's spiritual life had a great impact in their lives.When Jesus was being taken to be crucified, multitudes followed Him and women were weeping for Him. But Jesus turning to them and said in Luke 23:28, "Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children." Jesus told them that there is no need of weeping for Him but to weep for themselves and for their Children. If any mother followed the words of Jesus and wept for their children, it brought goodness and blessings in their lives as well as in the lives of their children. God is not a debtor of anybody, He will answer every prayer you ever prayed and He will repay every tear that you ever shed at the feet of Jesus with blessings. My grandmother was a woman of prayer. I remember when we went in her home during vacations. Whenever I woke up at nights, I saw her sitting on her bed and praying. Very often I asked my mom, "mom, does granny ever sleep?" Today we are reaping the harvest of her prayers. Many are settled in good positions and many are serving the Lord. Like my grandmother, my mother is also a mother of prayer. Whatever we are today is because of the valuable prayers of my mother. She shed bitter tears for us and no wonder all of us three children have dedicated our lives for Christ. How wonderful it is to serve the Lord, it is the greatest honor anybody could ever have. Many a times when children live a bad life and commit wrong things or being caught up in some violent activities, parents cry and think, "what went wrong?" They shed bitter tears not knowing what to do? The reason is very simple. They never spent time to pray for their children and to correct their ways. But a praying mother is a blessing for a family, a community and for a nation. Are you a praying mother? Are you weeping for your children? If not, one day your children will go in the wrong direction and will destroy themselves. Wake up before it is too late. Start praying for your kids until they accept the cross, until they find the right way of life. In this mother's day we wish all mothers a very happy and blessed mother's day. Let the good Lord bless you and make you a mother of prayer.

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
