EDITORIAL
Most of you have written your exams and may be enjoying your holidays, but some of you may be in fear of what your results will be, and what your future holds. The Bible says, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God." (Ps. 20:7 NKJV). When David went to fight with Goliath, he was just a little boy, but he said, Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. (1 Sam. 17:45 NKJV) And In later verses we see, how David defeated Goliath and took a great victory over the Philistine. There is victory in the name of our Lord Jesus. Call upon Him and He will hear you. As the Psalmist said, In my distress I cried to the LORD, and He heard me. (Ps. 120:1 NKJV) If you have any prayer request please feel free to send it to us. Marvelous discovery

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.(1 Pet. 5:7 NKJV) Yes, God knows everything. He even knew you and me, before He created the foundations of the world. The Bible says, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me." (Is. 49:15-16 NKJV) Many people say that the Bible is a corrupted book. That there is no truth in it because it was modified by man and so on. I was reading a book called "Bible Code," written by Michael Drosnin, who is a reporter, not a spiritual person. He writes in his book how a mathematician found some hidden codes in the Bible. When I went through this I was surprised. It’s really marvelous!! They found the names of great leaders from World War II, such as, "Roosevelt," "Churchill," "Stalin," "Hitler." They found the names of great artists, writers, inventors and scientists from ancient times to modern poets. "Shakespeare" is foretold in a single code sequence that spells out not only his name but his deeds: "Shakespeare"-"presented on stage"-"Hamlet"-"Macbeth" They found the name of Israel’s prime minister, "Yitzhak Rabin," who was assassinated, and they found the name of the assassin, and the year when it will happen. And it happened according to the code. And also the Jupiter collision was found, with exact date of impact, before it happened. And the dates of the gulf war were found in the Bible before the war started. They are amazed that the Bible which was written almost 3000 years ago, reveals all this information. These things show how true the Bible really is. And it also shows there is a God who knows every thing. His words never change. He has a marvelous plan for each and every person. And that's why He came into this world, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and d welt among us, as the Bible says, “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us....” (John. 1:14a NKJV) And He said,"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (Johnn. 10:10 NKJV) Yes, my friends, Jesus came into this world to give us life and He wants to give it to us more abundantly. He is calling you today to give you this wonderful, joyful, happy and peaceful life. Listen to His sweet voice and come to Him, He is ready to accept you as your sons and daughters. As the Bible says, "All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." (John. 10:8-9 NKJV) Will you open your heart for Jesus?
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
