EDITORIAL
"Fear not for I am with you."(Gen 26:24 & Isa. 43:5). Somebody said this word FEAR NOT appears in the Bible 360 times, roughly one FEAR NOT for every day of the year. Wow! While in this world, we live in fear, tension, violence and uncertainty, at the same time Jesus says fear not. How soothing a word it is. I know a family who worked for God, and because of their ministry people threatened to kill them. They lived in fear and many times when any member of the family went out there were no guarantee they would come back home safely. But in the midst of these problems they said only this word comforted them, "FEAR NOT, I am with you" Yes, Jesus is alive today to help us! Be Strong

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." (Deut 31:6- 8) If you read the book of Joshua, you can see how many times God said to Joshua, "Be strong, do not afraid." When the responsibility came upon his shoulders, when he went through problems, when he went through opposition, when he faced defeat, the Lord said to him, "Be strong, do not afraid." And if we look in the life of David, we can see that he went through many problems: the king Saul became his enemy and he had to run for his life and in despair he says in 1 Sam 20:3 "but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death." He went through the valley of sorrow of death, even his own people stood against him; but he looked to God and got the strength from the Lord as the Bible says in 2 Sam 22:5-7 "When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears." Yes, my friend, He helps us in the midst of problems. Maybe our friends can't help us, maybe our relatives can't help us, but He is faithful. But the question is how can He help us? We should be His children:- If you are not belonging to His family how can you go and ask Him? You don't have authority to ask an unknown person. But If a person receives Jesus Christ in his or her heart he/she becomes children of God as the Bible says in John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" And also the Bible says in Rom 8:15-16 "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." And When we become His children, He protects us and takes care of us. And when we cry out to Him, He hears our cry. He listens to our prayers and answers us!! So be of good courage. May God bless you!
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
We are excited to announce that we are starting printed edition of the magazine that will be monthly. And will contain all the four or five issues of a month. Our online magazine will still be free and can be read via email or on our websiteThere was a huge demand that we send our magazine by snail mail.
