Hag. 2:1 In the seventh month, on the twenty-first of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet......" Not only here but in many places in Bible, it is written that God's word came to such and such prophets. We can find the details of God's speaking in whole Bible. He spoke to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and He spoke to Moses and so on.....as Bible says in Heb 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds." Yes, He wants to speak to us as He made us for fellowship as Bible says in Gen.3:8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden." But Adam and Eve sinned before God and because of that the fellowship of God and man was broken. Yes, my friend, because of our sins we have no fellowship with God, we have no communication with God, but Jesus came in this world to save us from all our sins, He died on the cruel cross and shed His precious blood for us. And by doing that He made a bridge between God and us to have fellowship again, have communication with God again. Yes, today it is possible that we can talk to God as Bible says in Heb 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." In this Issue I am publishing a life story of Sis. Heard His Voice
When I was 8 years old, I heard a voice calling my name. I didn't understand what it was. The following Sunday there was an alter call in the Children's church and I decided to go forward. Well, after that happened I thought that, that was it. I didn't have to do anything else. I was going to heaven automatically. I would occasionally ask questions and read my Bible but I didn't have a real relationship with God. As I entered Middle School, or Junior High, I was pulled into the world's ways by peer pressure, and influences. I needed something to fill a hole in my heart, so I looked to what the world had to offer. All my thanks go to God for keeping me out of drugs and sex. By the time I was in 8th grade I had lost many friends because of jealousy, and hatred. The devil was truly controlling me. I even had a fight with my pastors wife! I had baby-sat her kids and now I was ruining that relationship with her. Everything was going wrong. I thought about suicide, about using drugs, and just about anything the world gave me. Then one day I heard that voice again. Someone was calling my name. I couldn't understand so I just fell down and started crying. I was empty, I had no friends, and I couldn't get along with anyone. So I started to go to Youth Group at the church I "used" to attend. There was an event called "Acquire the Fire" coming up in about a month. I decided it might be good to go. So I went. During the first night of this event I heard the voice. This time it wasn't just saying my name. It said "Beth, Beth, can you hear me, I love you and I want you to follow me." I was really scared. Then after the speaker spoke about hearing God, I knew what it was. I remembered that same voice from when I was 8 years old. It was God talking to me. He wanted me to become a part of his kingdom...to get away from the world. That day, they had an altar call, and I fell to my feet and started crying out to God. I knew he was the answer. I wasn't crazy, just hearing voices...it was God trying to speak to me! And that day I dedicated my life to Jesus and invited Him to come into my heart. Right now I am 16 but now I know the answer and I know God is there to pick me up. He is there to guide me and show me his will. I love sharing God's love with other people because I know what it is like to live without him. I had always thought that since I lived in a Christian home, that I was already going to heaven. That someone else could get me there. Now I know that my parents can't get me into heaven, nothing can but Jesus. He is the ladder to God, and he is my friend. I thank God all the time for brining me to my senses and saving me from this world of hatred, drugs, and sex. God is Good! And I rejoice in his name!

Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 9th Sep. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 9th Sep. 2008
