Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" In this verse God told Moses that He is the same God, Who does not change. His saving power is the same as in the beginning. As He walked with Moses, as He talked with Moses, so also today He does the same things in the lives of people. Here is a life story of Evangelist Sunil Kapoor - how God saved him and blessed him. TURNED FROM IDOLS TO THE LIVING GOD

I was born and raised in India in a punjabi (hindu) family.I worshipped idol gods as my parents did. From my childhood I did not like people who changed their religion. My own belief towards God was like a chandlier (many lights hanging but one chain holding the chandlier). I was so right in my own eyes, knowing that man could not change the way I believed. And I worked with people from many other religions. I came to the USA in 1983. During that year some people witnessed to me about JESUS CHRIST. I ignored them while they spoke to me and walked away from them. One day a lady witnesses to me about JESUS. I told her, "I do not believe in him". She asked, "Do you believe in God?" I replied, "Yes I do". Then she said to me, "Why dont you ask God yourself who He is, if these idols be real or if Jesus Christ be real." After she said this, I began to wonder if I was missing something in ignorance. It would not hurt to ask God about it. So during my next prayer session when I went to pray, I prayed a different kind of prayer. "God, I don't know who You are, but I know there is a power that rules everything. If I am serving these gods without knowing the true and Living God, it's not my fault, because my parents have raised me this way and brought me up this way. But if You manifest Yourself to me and I dont worship You, then its my fault." My prayer was very simple, but it was the first time I felt that every word came from my heart. During my prayer I began to see a vision with my eyes closed, which never happened to me before. The lady that witnessed to me told me about the vision that I saw in my prayer. I was astonished because I had not spoken to anyone concerning it. She left me with some assurance that the idols I was serving before were not right. A few days later I came from my work and was home cleaning up, when I felt the need to go and pray. And I was walking towards those idols where I always prayed. I took a few steps and felt a strong presence around me and I could not go any further. I felt like my feet were glued to the ground. I did not have any strength in me to go towards those idols. I returned and went to my bedroom and knelt down and wept bitterly and found myself calling upon the Lord JESUS CHRIST.When I got up from my knees, I knew that I was accepted by JESUS CHRIST and I accepted Him. What man could not do through teaching the mind, God was able to do in just one moment. Later I found Zach 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, saith the LORD of Hosts. After that I repented and was baptized. And few months later while working on the job at a construction road, the Lord filled me with the baptism of the HOLY GHOST with evidence of speaking with another tongue as the spirit gave me utterance. My carnal mind reasoned with me saying that it was me that was speaking all this and I tried to close my lips with my hands but was not able to do it. Later I found what JESUS said, John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. There are lots of religions in this world and lots of so-called gods. But the saviour of this world is Jesus Christ, Who is alive forevermore.
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
