Phil. 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Why did the writer of Phil. write like this? Because Jesus Christ is the prince of Peace as Bible says in Isa 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Yes, Jesus gives the peace that passes all understanding, the peace which world can't give. Once I gave my exam and I was very much depressed because I could not do well. I came back home and cried and cried and fell asleep. When I woke up there was a calendar in my room and in that this Bible verses was written Prov. 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." When I read this verses a great peace came into my heart. I felt as God spoke to me directly. When result was out, I scored high marks in that subject. Yes He can do the same thing for you. It is His promise that He will give us peace that passes all understanding. If you are going through tears or problems Jesus is able to solve your problem and give His peace and keep you in Peace. In this Issue I am publishing a message by Sis. Sheela Isaac.
JESUS IS THE WAY

God created this world with His mighty power & intelligence. Then God made man (Adam) in His own image & likeness. (GEN1: 27) "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." God told them very simple thing.(GEN1: 16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; (Verse-17 ) "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." See it was a command of God , it was not a tough task , but man was not able to obey this simple command & got into sin. He disobeyed God & doing this got into sin. Today is the same situation of mankind in this world. Bible says in (Rom3:23 ) "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". & the penalty of sin is death . A soul which sin surly dies. (Rom6: 23 ) "For the wages of sin is death." We are all sinners, because of Adams sin, its result is death, & end is in eternal hell. When God saw this, He decided something great to save perishing mankind. He send His only begotten son "Jesus" in this world. Jesus came to take away all our sins & shame, Jesus came to die on the cruel cross on behalf of us, Jesus came to pay the price. Jesus died for our sins, He has shed His precious blood to redeem us from the death, from the clutches of the devil. (Heb9:22)"And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." (Rom6: 23 ) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Heb9:27) And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,(Heb9:28) so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. My dear friends, Lord Jesus did it all for you, He has beared all this sufferings for you & only for you. We are not going to live in this world forever, but we all have to stand before the judgment throne of God one day or other. Think about it seriously, are you going to stand before God as a Holy person, as a sinless person. Do you say I have a place in heaven, If not there is no use of this life. Jesus can help you to come out of your sins, Jesus can give you a place in heaven, He can give you peace, joy, happiness & eternal life (the blessed life which will never end) If you want abundant life please pray this prayer with your whole heart-- Lord Jesus I come to your presence, I believe that you are the way to heaven. Till today I lived my life according to my will. I did the things which is not holy at your sight., but now, I surrender my life to you, save me , forgive my sins , wash me with your precious blood & make me a child of yours & give me a place in heaven. Amen May God bless you.
Standing in the Gap - Fasting prayer on 13th May. 2008
As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month. Our next fasting prayer meeting will be conducted on 13th May. 2008
Printed Version of the Magazine
