At times people say, I have no ability… I have no education… I am this and that and they under estimate themselves. But if you are a child of God, born by the blood of Jesus you are not an ordinary person. You are a child of the most high God. John 1:12, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” We read some of the privileges of a child of God in Psalm 91. This Psalm is just a wonderful psalm. The Psalmist says that because you have known God, because you have made the Most High God your refuge, He is going to protect you, He is going to bless you and He is going to send His angels to help you and protect you. Psalm 91:3, “Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.”When I was studying in college at that time so many girls were kidnapped and some were from my college and from nearby areas where we lived. At times I was frightened to go to college so I wrote to a man of God asking his prayers for me. He wrote back that whenever you go out, before leaving home, read Psalm 91 then only leave. I did exactly that and it helped me to have courage to go outside. Not only that but many a times we claimed the verses from Psalm 91 and God protected us from seasonal fevers and other sicknesses.God’s protection would be on you when you are in the family of God. In Psa 91:11 we read, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.”Once a man of God was traveling from one city to another city. He had preached in several places and he was very tired. As he was traveling he fell asleep and he did not know where he was headed. But he saw a dream that his vehicle is about to enter into a river. Then he saw that an angel who had a big rope came and put his rope around the car and started to pull the car outside so that the car may not go further down in the river. The man of God suddenly woke up from his dream and looked around in his fear. To his surprise and to his horror his car was standing at the very brink of the river. He had no idea how the engine stopped just two feet away from the brink of the river. Then only he realized that the almighty God Himself sent His angel to protect him and saved him from going down in the river.Yes, my friend, if you are a child of God, you are privileged to have all these things and much more. But if you are not a child of God, you can become His child just by praying this simple prayer: Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. Please forgive me from all my sins and wash me with you r precious blood. Today I invite you as my Lord and Savior. Please come into my life and give me the right to become your child. Thank you for listening to my prayers. I give you all the glory. I pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
1 Cor 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:1 Cor 12:4 -5 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1 Cor 12:5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 1 Cor 12:7 -10, "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues."Bible speaks about nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. These gifts are given to a person who is already filled with Holy Spirit or having the anointing of the Holy Spirit. A person who is not born again (that is, saved) and not spirit filled can't have these gifts. Today many, those who do not have a thorough understanding about the working of these gifts generalize the whole matter and confuse the gift of wisdom as ordinary wisdom and the gift of knowledge as ordinary knowledge. They think that the gift of wisdom and the ordinary wisdom are the same, and also consider that the gift of knowledge and ordinary knowledge are the same, but that's not true. Today we are going to look especially about two gifts.1. Gift of wisdom:2. Gift of discerning of the spirits1. Gift of wisdom:This is a very precious gift. When this gift begins to operate in a person, that individual can have very dynamic experiences in the spiritual realm. These gifts make you to see mysteries of deep and what is happening in the spirit world, what the demons are planning against God's ministry and His ministers. Through this gift you can know who God is and what great abilities He has. Br. D.G.S Dhinakaran a man of God who was used mightily by God in India had many great experiences. He visited heaven several times when he was alive. You can hear his heavenly experiences here. He had gift of wisdom and when he used to pray he would visit heaven and when he would be praying before a meeting where he had to preach, angels of God would descend in his room with God's messages. This precious gift brings heavenly experiences where you can see how heaven looks like where God dwells. Bible tells us that St.Paul had such experiences. 2 Cor 12:2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago; whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows; such a one was caught up to the third heaven.2 Cor 12:3 And I know such a man; whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows;2 Cor 12:4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.It is indeed a marvelous gift. It is not a general wisdom as many preach today describing that natural talent of studying well finding a good job and finding a good partner for marriage. That is a very carnal description about this precious gift. Every person can't have this gift unless and until God has a special purpose behind it. Through this gift Moses could part the red sea in two. Exo 14:15 -16, "And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. "But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Through this gift Elisha could see the chariots of fire and horses which came for his protection. 2 Ki 6:17, "And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."You can also have this gift today. If you are in ministry and filled with Holy Spirit, you need this gift. It will turn your ordinary ministry into a dynamic one. You might have worked hard all these years trying to win souls, but might have failed miserably. But, If you have this gift it could turn your ministry around. Theological studies and head knowledge does not make a ministry dynamic, but revelations which comes from God does it. The anointing of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit makes a ministry dynamic. Your ministry is not fruitful and you are not seeing the intended revival because satan standing on your way, working against you, is putting hurdles continuously. If you know before hand what satan is planning against you, you will be in a position to topple him and give him a good defeat. That is why you need the gift of wisdom. Three years back my dad was pretty ill and had to be on ventilator. While recovering a little bit from that, one day he was behaving very strangely. Normally he is a very quiet person. I had never seen him talking too much, but when he was in hospital one day the nurse sat him on a chair. Then his non stop talk begun. He was talking and talking as mentally ill people do and I was very upset thinking, "Is it really my dad who normally doesn't talk much. He was using a few strange words and sentences while speaking which I never ever heard him say in my life time and it really startled us. There is a word in Malayalam language "Edavaga" for vicinity. He was using that word very often which I was hearing for the first time from his mouth. Then again he was using a sentence in Malayalam which means, "we did not know it, that is amazing". That sentence looked funny and he was using it after every two three sentences. Right away we knew that something was not right. I was very upset thinking that even if he gets healed, if he stays mentally ill then there is no use of this healing. That day, after returning from the hospital, I began to pray to figure out a solution for this problem. Then I saw a vision in which my dad was speaking non stop and very rapidly a word which sounded like "pachak - pachak." Then the Lord said, "this is the demon which is making him to talk too much. This demon's name is pachak-pachak. Drive this demon away and he will become normal again." I was amazed when the Lord said this. If you are a believer, demons can't enter inside of you but still they can affect you from outside. We prayed the next fifteen days and rebuked this demon and sent it in hell fire. You must know that if you are a spirit filled believer and a child of God, you have authority over demons and when you command those demons to leave in Jesus name they will obey you. Mark 16:17-18, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." After two week's prayer we won victory over satan and my dad became normal. Today I have a great hope that mentally ill people can get healed. I believe that many of them look as if mentally ill, not because they are really ill but some kind of demon influence might be behind it and if you could locate the root cause of it, you can successfully win victory. Yes, the gift of wisdom is a very precious gift. If you have this gift, it could turn your ministry into a dynamic one. When you minister to the people, you should know how to turn impossible situations into possible.2. Gift of discerning of the spirits:Another precious gift is the gift of discernment. When this gift operates in your life, you could know how demons are working and what they are trying to plan and do. If you look in the Bible, a woman was following Paul the apostle. He right away knew what was wrong with that woman. Acts 16:16 - 18, "Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, "These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation." And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And he came out that very hour." If you and I were there in the place of Paul we would have got very happy thinking that this girl is praising our work. There was no way to know what this girl was trying to do unless you have the gift to discern spirits or receive revelation from God. Her statement did not look offensive in any way and she was not behaving like a demon possessed woman. She said correctly that Paul was proclaiming the way of salvation." You can only know the demons behind this girl, through the gift of discernment. Unless and until God tells you, you can't know it nor can you declare that anybody is demon possessed. I never heard or knew that people could bring demons with them and leave them in your place. A couple of years back a woman visited our home. When she left our home my dad asked, "who was the other woman who was with her?" We told him that none else was with her. Then he explained saying, "I never had seen this woman before. She looked very ugly and her face looked like burnt in fire." Then he further said what the woman was doing when the other person was there. Then only we knew that it was a vision and that my dad could see the demon who walked in with that woman. Our home is a very peaceful home but that night something unusual happened. We argued for something and a little argument turned out to be a big one. I was very upset that night thinking, "Why this unusual incidence should happen to us." I was praying hard to find out the solution and my sister was also praying at that time. So I told her to pray and figure out. After prayer she said that the Lord is telling, "quarreling, fighting and divorce spirit" has entered your home and you need to drive it out quickly before some disaster strikes. So we prayed hard that night and drove that demon out from our home. After that there was great peace in our home as before. It is quite amazing how the gift of discernment works. It is a very unique gift. My dad saw many other visions, which were also very remarkable. When a person comes and if they are involved in witchcraft, he can see the demons coming with them. It is amazing that he sees them literally while others see nothing. A couple of weeks back, my dad was in hospital. Just hours before his surgery, when we were still contemplating and talking to few other doctors and surgeons to figure out if surgery is so necessary, my dad saw a vision. He was talking to us normally. Then He said, "a woman was sitting here in a chair and just now she walked out from the room and turned back looked for few seconds then walked away." My brother said, "dad it was a nurse you saw." I asked him was she wearing blue dress? He said, "no she was wearing a dress with prints like flowers and color was purple." In ICU a separate chamber was built outside every room and had a window through which a nurse could monitor the condition of a patient 24hrs. The nurse monitors the blood pressure, heart rate and other things in her computer sitting there and often she would look through that window to see the condition of a patient. So we thought that my dad was talking about the nurse and nurse was wearing a plain blue dress. Then my dad said the dress was long one like a gown up to the ankle. So I thought he could see the nurse only up to her waist so it must not be the nurse and further she was not wearing dress with purple prints either. Then he again explained and said, "do you remember so and so gave a sari and later Sheela, you made a dress out of it." My jaw dropped in awe and then I remembered the sari, which my mom got may be twenty five years back and I loved it very much so few years back I borrowed it from my mom and turned it into a dress. Another amazing thing was that in that vision, my dad said, 'the woman was sitting in a chair by his bedside.' When he said that I thought in my heart that there was no chair then my dad himself said, "there is no chair here but I saw her sitting here on a chair." The other noticeable thing was that he saw her walking out from the room, stood afar off and it was a large open ground. But in reality, outside the hospital room was a narrow hallway. Then we knew that it was a vision. After three hours of this vision my dad went for surgery and the surgery went well. Then after that my family and I returned home. After coming home the first thing I did was to pull that dress out to look and to my amazement indeed the dominating color was purple as my dad described. Well that night my brother prayed to find out the meaning of that vision then the Lord said, "the attack of devil was over." These gifts are very amazing. When you have these gifts, you can know what is happening in the spirit world and how to tackle the problems. Long back I heard a story and if I remember correctly there was a woman who was devil possessed. Many servants of God had prayed for her but the demon would not leave her. After many months and years of struggle they called a particular servant of God who had the gift of discernment and this gift was operating in his life very powerfully. The said man of God came to pray for her and tried to drive the demon out but it would not leave. So he knelt down in the adjacent room and prayed for more than an hour to figure out the exact cause. Then he found out that the demon's name was "lo". He came out and said, "lo, I command you to leave this woman in Jesus name." And the demon left and the woman was healed totally. That's what gift of discernment does.If you have these gifts, your ministry would turn into a mighty ministry. Look at the prophets and preachers of the Bible days. They were all filled with Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. That's why they could do mighty wonders for the Lord. It is God's specialty to do miracles. Look at the ministry of Jesus. It was filled with signs, wonders and miracles. If you believe that today miracles can’t happen then it could be possible that you are not serving the same Jesus of the Bible but you may be serving somebody else. Dreams, visions and heavenly experiences are God's another specialty. Through out the Bible God spoke to His people through dreams, visions and through angels and if you don't believe in such experiences then you might not be following the God of Bible but somebody else. Our God is not a dead God or powerless entity who could do miracles halfway up to New Testament days and then go on for vacation. If you think that miracles don't happen today then you are not talking about the same God of Bible who performed mighty miracles through out the Bible. Miracles are God's nature and it does not change by different eras. Why am I writing all these things; because I feel that it is God's will to give you these precious gifts. You can have these gifts by simply asking. The Bible says, ask and it shall be given to you." You can receive these precious gifts by asking. It will turn your ministry around. If you know how to defeat satan and his army, your barren and fruitless ministry will turn into a dynamic one. May God bless you.

I fasted twice first for ten days and the 2nd time for twenty one days. It was on those occasions that I experienced the presence of God. The first time I fasted and prayed sitting in a Church for ten days. At that time my fingers were bent up and my hand was twisted. Two years passed In this way, for taking food somebody had to place a spoon between my bent up fingers with which I would put food into my mouth some of it will go in and some out, for dressing somebody had to help me, for walking somebody had to support me or I had to use a cane or otherwise I would fix my left leg firmly and with both my hands I would lift my right leg and move it further and thus I would crawl dragging myself. This happened to me as my bones were broken because of taking the name of Jesus. But while I was in that fasting prayer of ten days, a servant of God came there. He said, "Let us praise God working the instrument of ten strings using all our ten fingers. Let us clap our hands and worship Him." Everybody started worshipping God. But my hands were not strong enough. I started crying and said, "Lord, I am not able to worship you as these people are doing. It was for you that my bones were broken. When I was crying like this, I felt that my whole body was shaking as if somebody was shaking me up. I opened my eyes and I felt that this shaking was spreading through my bones. Then I observed that the shaking spread through the bones, entered the fingers which had remained immovable and bent up for two years. Now the fingers started shaking and those bent up fingers began opening up.Everybody had stopped worshipping, stopped clapping their hands and yet I continued worshipping and speaking in tongues. When the pastors observed me, they saw that my fingers have opened up and saw that I was clapping with my hands. They were all wonderstruck. All of them came running and examined me. They asked me to walk, but I was still lame. They asked me, "Has not your legs been healed? I said, "I prayed for my hands only. I forgot about my legs." Next month I fasted for twenty one days. At that time a great faith filled my soul and I believed, "Today I will get healing in my leg. Last month God performed a miracle and in that miracle I believed." Everybody was standing and they were dancing just like David who danced before the ark of the Lord. I was standing leaning on the wall. When I was standing I said in my heart, "Jesus, when Peter and John were walking towards the temple called beautiful, a man lame from his birth asked for alms from them and when he looked expecting to receive something from them, Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." By saying this he took him by the right hand and lifted him up. And immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them--walking, leaping, and praising God." I am telling this from Acts 3rd chapter. I was saying this portion of the Bible while standing leaning on the wall. After saying that I said, "the same power which worked in the name of Jesus at that time should flow through my leg" and I lifted my leg. I only knew that I lifted my leg, but I felt as if I was thrown away. I started to run and walk. At that time, the experience I had was as if one bone of the leg was lifting up and one bone came down and both joined together. Even today I have the mark of the scars in my leg from the knife thrown at me, but my Lord gave me the grace to walk freely without laming.And God promised to work in the hearts of authorities in the same way as He worked in my body.Read Part 14 here

As the Bible says in Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it." And also the Bible says in Numbers 16:48, "And he (Aaron) stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped." We have fasting prayer every second Tuesday of each month.
